| Ahhhh....gotta fever!! No no, not the sick kind...not the bored
kind (though, that is spiking quite a lot, here in "fun" New
Braunfels)...but the dreaded wedding sickness-oh no!
Now I dunno if it's working at one to many bridal shows, talking to a
few hundred happy brides-to-be (and staring at their sparkling rocks),
or watching too much late night episodes of Bridezilla, but I have
almost everything picked out for my not-so-soon wedding...not even in-a-few-years wedding...and it's getting kinda scary...
But so what, if I have my top five picks of rings from Tiffany's,
depending on the guy (meaning wealth...haha, with a canary diamond as a
fav-one of the rarest in the world, meaning most expensive, ofcourse
:)), and I know exactly the type of cake I want at my dreamy, princess
wedding (castle included), or that I have found the type of fabric I
want my flowing gown made of (mimicking Grace Kelly's wedding dress,
with the 125 year old lace-doesn't that sound pretty??), and have even
found perfect flowers for my bouquet-shades of pink, ofourse!
Maybe a change-of-major is in order? Perhaps wedding planner??
....or at least crasher? haha, guess I'll just wait for my own...
...where I will def be a Bridezilla...be warned!

| I loooove watchin fireworks…especially cute ones on a cake
Lacy and I made for Nicole’s birthday, which is what I’m doing this year on the
4th…yup, I’m stuck at the desk.
Yippee Skippee!! …and with the powers of magical Vicoden (gotta love
it!), the fireworks are starting to move…oooo..
Yah, so I have the most awesome set of friends evar! For about a week now, I’ve felt like crap,
and they have all been super sweet and have taken care of me, even when I didn't
want it…ended up in the ER last night (no fun whatsoever…) and Lacy and Joe
were an immense help, even when I was yelling at them for dragging me to the
hospital…love yall lots!!!
…anywho, thinking about takin it easy for the rest of the
summer and maybe going home…seems like work is killing me right now, with the
40 plus hours a week…but still, don’t wanna just quit either…
It’ll all work out!

| Ok, so I just read Ashley’s uber-cute entry and I want mine to be like that…but probably won’t end up with as fun of an ending…
I’m workin hard (riiiight) at the desk right now…sooo much excitement!!
Water main broke on Maple street right in front on the living room during Nicole’s shift…oooooo. They dug parts of the road up and water was spewing everywhere and was getting the worker dudes soaked…couldn’t help but laugh…looked awesome…will def post pictures later…
…but drive by the front of Maple-there’s a wickedly awesome lookin’ hole!
Just wrapped a one-year-old’s birthday present, a Where The Wild Things Are book-my favorite kids book ever-for her little leap pad thing, and was having trouble signing the bday card…I mean, she’s one-what do you say to a one year old?? Lol…so went through a few rough drafts…
“Happy Birthday!! You can’t read. You will probably eat this. Hope it taste good!”

Ahh…back to the grind… | | |
| Well, from the
title, this summer has not been one of the best...first, it was mono, as
discussed in previous xanga entry. I
then had an ultrasound done b/c they though something was up w/ my spleen, and
they ended up finding my gal bladder full of gal stones and my liver was lookin
a bit funny (how fun is that?! Haha)...
So when school got
out, I ran down to NB for what should have been a quick surgery...had an awesome
surgeon, hung out in McKenna for a few days, and moped around the house for the
rest of the time (with an awesome night somewhere in there of Kristin and Lacy
kidnapping me...love em!! <3 <3 <3), but when I got back up here,
never really felt 100% better...could barely eat a thing and Lacy though I was
anorexic, sooo on Thursday morning went back to the doc...
After a buncha
tests, I just thought I had a stomach virus and went back to Maple...but the
doc called me back, saying the dreaded word...Appendicitis...emergency
surgery...today...wtf?? Don’t have time
for this!! Just had surgery, barely two
weeks ago!! Lab today!!...wtf?!
After many phone
calls, with my mom speeding up here, Ashley, mi amiga, runs me over to
Presbyterian and waits around with me for a few hours (emergency surgery?? huh?? lol) while we watch Oprah and make fun of
the surgeon with the funny foreign accent (“You allergic to Penis?”...“Wow, I
hope not!”...“I mean peanuts?”)...haha.
Then surgery (always a blast!)...then hangin’ out in the fun hospital
for a few days, though was pretty wicked awesome, since I had the best room in
the hospital-huuuuuge, amazing view, and the coolest bed evar!! I also had a buncha friends come and cheer me
up with magazines, cards, flowers, and balloons...love ‘em to death!
So I’m now bummin’
around my room in Maple (with my Mommy taking care of me...wew!) and hoping not
to get sick yet again...though codeine is quite yummy! Dunno about classes or work or much of
anything yet...any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
In the midst of
all this chaos, I have had a chance to hang with some cool peeps, catcha few
movies here in there (Benchwarmers
was hilarious....The Omen freakin’
scary, especially if ya see it with Christi!), cook yummy yummy food in Maple
Kitchenette (pictures of our first supper posted laters...), and tell scary
Maple ghost stories...oooo! I still am
dying to see The Break Up, so anyone
wanna go?!
Anywho, I heart
everyone who has visited me, called me, or left me a fun message to cheer me
up...yall guys rock!!! :D
